Regular club meeting. Visitors are always welcome. First part of the meeting deals with club business and activities. Often there may be a talk or discussion on an astronomical topic.
Star and planet-gazing on Friday, September 27 at 8:00pm. There is no talk this month, so we’ll meet in the Activity field by the observatory. No prior knowledge of astronomy is required – just curiosity. Please note that the event will not take place if the weather is bad or cloudy.
Solar Viewing at White Memorial’s annual Family Nature Day. Weather permitting, we will hold our annual event inviting attendees to look at sunspots, solar prominences and flares, if any.
